Delhuntie Park 4X – Nearly ready to ride!

Lenny explaining how to digThe weekend saw some of the most rain that we’ve seen for a while which made it easy to dig, but unfortunately didn’t allow us to pack in the track to get it rock solid. We all soldiered on through the wet and got the track into a state that I’m proud to say would keep the best 4X riders in the country entertained. Some new and fancy lines have been added and jumps have been built up, but with some b-lines for the not so daring. We also worked on improving the drainage so the track will be rideable even on the wettest of days.

Full noise and props go to Mega ‘Kuboto’ Watt, Ben ‘I am not an Animal’ Barrett, Leoni ‘Rabbit’ Picton, Steve ‘Scuba’ Barrett, Dan ‘I don’t have a cool nick name yet’  Barrett, Searzy, Spencer, Lenny VB, Dean ‘Ta for the wacker’ Morris, Sam, Adam Verrall, Bobby ‘roll up when everything is done’, Jase Mac, Old Man BOB, anyone I missed (SORRY!), Kubota Tractors, RakeHOs, Shovels and Blunt Chainsaws! THANKS HEAPS RYAN the new owner of Delhuntie Park for letting us go wild in the mud and cheers to the Scale family for letting us carry on riding at Delhuntie Park – YEEOOW.

Watch this space for more upcoming news of a final build day to iron out the creases before we launch our first club ride day at Delhuntie Park, hopefully before November!
