Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to cancel the Colquhoun Race that was scheduled for 27th September. This decision was not taken lightly, however we feel we had no choice. GMTB prides itself on running great races for it’s members and with several of key organizers unavailable due to work and private commitments; this left the race without race directors, admin for the race and a reduced volunteer base to get the tracks ready. It is disappointing considering it would have been a good training for those competing in the Adventure Festival later in October. It is also disappointing for the crew in East Gippsland as this is the second race we have had to cancel/postpone in the area. We will look to support the magnificent work they do in 2016.
