Major Event Volunteers Needed!
We are hosting Co-Hosting Round 2 of the Chain Reaction Cycles and Nukeproof Victorian Downhill Series at Mt Baw Baw on 10th and 11th January 2015 in two weeks time with Red Hill Riders and Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort.
This major annual event is going to be a great opportunity to showcase our club to riders from all over Victoria!!! At the same time, any profit that we make will go towards infrastructure that will benefit ALL Gippsland MTB and Red Hill Riders members!
To make it all work – we need VOLUNTEERS!
It would be great if you could donate at least half a day’s work for this event.
Currently have volunteer positions for:
– Shuttle Bus Pick Up and Return to Traralgon x 5 positions (pickup Friday – Return Sunday)
– Shuttle drivers x 12 (working on a 3.5 hour shift only, either morning or afternoon)
– Registration x 1 (Saturday only)
Nick King is our volunteer coordinator for this event. You can volunteer for a whole day, half a day, 2 full days – whatever you choose. If you have any friends/relatives/neighbors who’d like to help, they are more than welcome. Accommodation and lunches will be supplied to each and every volunteer at the event plus you get trail kudos for ever!
Not only will you be helping out YOUR club but you’ll also get to see some of the best downhill riders in Australia in action. Plus there is the awesome social side to this event which is a great way to meet like-minded mountain bike riders!
