Round 2 of the Gippsland MTB championship see a new style of event with a twilight race at Mt Taylor. Wile this area is more well known for its down hill track, it also has some good cross country courses winding up and down the valley.

This event will follow the standard enduro format with riders to complete as many laps as possible within the time frame. This means that riders can take breaks or even stop altogether at anytime during the race, so do not be put off if you are not in peak condition.

The timing of this event will mean that lights will be required for the last half of the event. While the club does not have any lights available for loan, there may be some other people out there with some older lights available for loan. Please email us if you have a set of lights available for loan or if you need a set for the event and we’ll allocate them on a first come, first served basis.
