The clubs first Social Ride for the year actually falls on Valentines Day, so what better way to show your loved one who much you care than to take them on a Mountain Bike Ride. With this in mind we have chosen an appropriate track for all skill levels, this being the feared Moe-Yallourn Rail Trail. This track can be deceptively flat and riders will have to tackle sections where the track narrows down to a tight 2 meters in width!

However, if you and your partner survive, you will be rewarded with a nice lunch (Chicken and Champaign has been suggested) before the return leg of the journey. For those inclined there are numerous location where single track does drop off the side of the trail, however your partner may not quite have your enthusiasm for such silliness.

The trail is 8km each way and there is car access to each end so you can set up a shuttle if you wish to ride only one way. We will be meeting at the Yallourn end next to the power station with lunch in Moe park. The cost will be $10 per head and pre-registration is required for catering purposes.
