The Final Challenge: Bulldog Spiral – 27-Nov-2011

Round 10 of the Gippsland MTB, the final event for 2011, will be a variation on the Point To Point theme with competitors starting and finishing at the same point. However, to keep it interesting the event will be a bit different.

The event will take in some of terrain around Bulldog Junction, the location of the Pete’s Track Sprint earlier in the year. It will be about 95% single track with some technical climbs and challenging descents and will finish with a climb up Pete’s Track! Also, the event will have two classes, with the B Group finishing when they return to Bulldog Junction while the A Group will continue for another lap of 75% of the original course.

All technical sections will be clearly marked on the course and will be easily walkable by less confident riders.

The initial loop will be approximately 15km with the additional loop for the A Group riders to be approximately 12km.

As always, the event will be open to non-club members with a free BBQ and drink for all entrants on the day.

Since it is the last race of the year, come along and join in on what will be an extremely fun day. The route to the course will be signposted from the Upper Maffra Road.
