UPDATE – Colquhuon needs you! – Extra trail maintenance, Saturday 22nd June, 9am
Unfortunately Colquhuon was not spared from the downpour that drenched most of Gippsland late last week. As it stands at present, the Colquhuon 4 hour race course will be heavily modified to what was indicated earlier in the month. In an effort to incorporate some more of the enjoyable sections, there will be a working bee held on Saturday, 22 June at 9am to repair some of the damage and make the tracks rideable again. The meeting point will be the corner of Bruce Track and Princes Highway.
If you are unable to make it on the trail maintenance day but still want to lend a helping hand, feel free to contact us to find out what you can do to help (events@gippslandmtb.com.au).
The club will have some tools available on the day, your own shovels and rake hoes will be handy to carry out the works.
Free entry (and a sneak peak of the course) to the race will be provided for all who register for and attend the trail maintenance.
If you are free on Saturday and can attend, you efforts will be greatly appreciated by the club and riders.
