Max’s 12 Hours in the Saddle

Some of you may have met him over the years as he is the main man behind Blores Hill and the excellent quality of the trails that we get to ride out there. He is out there as often as he can to clear off the trails, fix any damage and ensure that it is always in tip top condition.

With the recent fires that ran through Gippsland, Max is stepping up to do what he can to help effected people. With this in mind he is going to ride for 12 hours at Blores Hill and get people to sponsor him for this effort. While a solo 12 hour is not that unusual for some of you, it is for Max as he is actually a disabled pensioner so it will be a massive effort for him to achieve this target!

He will be doing this on the same day as the Blores Hill 4 Hour Bushfire Fundraiser race on Sunday 22nd March. All he is looking for is for people to put in at least a gold coin donation into his tin at the Control table at the race.

All funds raised on the day will go to GMTB members affected by the Gippsland Bushfires, the same as all proceeds from the race itself. So please support Max in his efforts on this day, give him a cheer as he goes past and put something in his tin on the day.
