Subaru 2016 Australian MTB National Champs Downhill (20/03/16)

Brosnan may have been the Best In Bright but young Beau Johnson from Heyfield took home the Bronze in the Under 13 Men in a determined performance at his National Downhill debut.

The weekend of qualifying started in torrential rain and gradually cleared with blue sky bathing Bright in sunshine for the finals.

In similar fashion Beau’s weekend got brighter as it continued finishing the weekend with a clear run improving on his qualifying time by over 2 minutes.

An outstanding result for this young rider who backed himself to compete in the this thrilling discipline of Mountain Biking (with great support from his family).
