Mt Taylor 3 Hour Twilight Enduro: 23-Apr-2016

Round 3 of the Gippsland MTB championship see a new style of event with a twilight race at Mt Taylor. Wile this area is more well known for its down hill track, it also has some good cross country courses winding up and down the valley.

This event will follow the standard enduro format with riders to complete as many laps as possible within the time frame. This means that riders can take breaks or even stop altogether at anytime during the race, so do not be put off if you are not in peak condition.

The timing of this event will mean that lights will be required for the last half of the event.

The event is open to both members and non-club members in the following categories –

  • Female Solo
  • Junior Solo
  • Teams

Where: Mt Taylor MTB Park (north of Bairnsdale)

Format: Multi-lap Enduro
Track: MTB Singletrack – 5KM Laps (approx 20 mins)
Requirements: Lights, Helmet, Bike in good working order – Gloves and Glasses advised to be worn
When: Saturday, 23rd April 2016
Registration Opens: 13:30
Race Starts: 15:00
Presentations: 18:30 (approx 5 mins after last rider completes course)
Cost:

$35 Adult Entry ($25 if pre-register online before the event)
$25 Junior Entry & Team Member ($15 if pre-register online before the event)
$25 Day License if don’t hold an MTBA Competition License
