HVP Plantations owns and manages a significant estate area across Gippsland. There are many informal and passive uses people make of the estate, one of them is mountain biking.

There has been a recent incident where a mountain biker entered an active forest harvesting operation. This an extremely dangerous act which may result in death. A number of scenarios could have played out, such as a tree being inadvertently being felled on the rider. HVP takes everyone’s safety on our estate extremely seriously, please obey all safety signage in and around the HVP estate to ensure you safely enjoy a ride again tomorrow.
