Trail Maintenance Day – Glengarry: 8-May-2010
Our next race will be a Point to Point race at Glengarry May 23rd. This race was a huge success last year and the organisers have an ever bigger and better course planned for this years event. However, the planned course has a few sections that will require a bit of work in the lead up to this event. So we have swapped the planned social ride in May, Technical Shuttle Ride Day, with the Trail Maintenance session scheduled in June on the calendar.
GSBC/CWM Boolarra 3 Hour Enduro – 25-Apr-2010
Round three of the GMTB Club Championship will see us take in another area of Gippsland’s awesome trail network, this time being in the Boolarra region. This area was devastated by last years fires but has bounced back well, Lenny and helpers have put together a challenging 8-9 km loop of existing single track mixed in with a bit of reclaimed track since the fires. Race format will be a 3 hour enduro for solo and pairs entries only. All skill levels are welcome but be advised there are just as many ups as downs, registration will open at 8:30 with a race start at 10:00. The event will be signposted from the Boolarra pub and is only a few km’s from the town.
